The things
people actually ask.
Spirits go to 47 states and Washington, DC, including Michigan, South Dakota, and Tennessee, through our licensed retail partner network. We do not ship bourbon to Alaska, Hawaii, Utah, or U.S. territories and armed forces mail (AS, FM, GU, MH, MP, PW, PR, VI, AA, AE, and AP). Bourbon is UPS Ground, 3 to 8 business days, and $19.99 up to 24 lb. Merchandise ships anywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Utah, for a flat $8.99, in 5 to 9 business days, as its own package. The state list is on the shipping and states page.
Yes, for the bourbon. An adult 21 or older has to sign and show ID. The carrier will not leave alcohol unattended and cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. Merchandise ships normally and does not need a signature.
Bourbon and merchandise travel on different rails. Alcohol goes through a licensed carrier. Merchandise is made to order and ships from our print partner, Printful. If you order both, you pay the bourbon shipping charge and the $8.99 merchandise charge, and you get two deliveries and two tracking numbers. Your cart says the order ships in more than one part. Checkout shows both charges before you pay.
Bourbon has to be at least 51 percent corn. The second grain is usually rye, which is where the sharp peppery bite comes from. We use wheat instead, which makes it rounder and softer. It is the reason this bottle tends to convert people who think they do not like whiskey.
A flat $1 from every bottle and every piece of merch goes to animal rescue, in Duke’s name. You see the exact amount for your order in the cart before you check out. Where it goes is on the Duke’s Rescue page.
Yes, and most people do. You can ship to any address in a state we serve, as long as somebody 21 or older is there to sign. We can include a handwritten note. For twenty or more, talk to us directly.
Alcohol cannot be returned once delivered, which is federal and state law rather than our preference. If a bottle arrives broken and you tell us within 7 days, we replace it. Merchandise is made for that order, so we replace a defective or wrong-size item reported within 7 days, and we cannot take it back for a change of mind.
Yes. Bars, restaurants, and retail accounts should get in touch and we will route you correctly depending on your state.
The name behind the dog on the bottle. There were two Dukes: the first a Newfoundland, the second a purebred St. Bernard. Over the years six big dogs have shared the house, and it has never stopped taking in rescues or helping out where it can. Duke is the name for all of them. The whole story.
