We want this site to work for everyone who is old enough to use it. We build toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we have done
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Images that carry meaning have alt text. Decorative pattern layers are hidden from screen readers.
- Body and interface text meets AA contrast against its background.
- Headings run in order so the page can be navigated structurally.
- Animation, including the announcement ticker, respects reduced-motion settings.
- Layout works down to small screens and reflows without horizontal scrolling.
Where we know we fall short
The age gate is a hard requirement for an alcohol site and interrupts entry for everyone. We have made it keyboard operable and screen-reader labelled, but it is still a barrier by design.
